Successful  people support   successful events

Thames Music And Drama will stage Disney's Beauty and The Beast in the Civic Centre from 10th -17th  June 2017.

This is a huge undertaking and, to the best of our knowledge, the first live Disney production ever staged in the Coromandel.  Due to the complexity of the show and our attempt to capture the 'magical world of Disney' the production costs are over $30,000,  twice as much as usual.

The production involves close to 60 volunteers from across the Thames,Coromandel and Hauraki region. This also includes a significant amount of young people from local schools who have gained a tremendous amount of confidence as well as the skills that come from performing.

Amongst the teams of volunteers that work tirelessly to bring a show like this to life, we have been very fortunate to have had expertise guidance in choral work, special effects make-up and fight scene choreography.  We are now well into the 12 week rehearsal schedule and it is already looking and sounding great.  Hot on the heels of the success of "Grease" we anticipate a sell out season again.

We are offering local businesses the opportunity to sponsor some of the amazingly talented people playing a range of enchanting characters

If you would like to be associated with what we are sure will be talked about for years as the 'Best Show Ever' - then we encourage you to make a donation of $100 . To thank you for your donation we will ensure your business name is associated with the Character/Cast Member in our show programme, digital display in foyer and social media as well as providing two complimentary Prime Seat tickets on the sponsors night.

For promotional scheduling reasons this offer will only be available for the next two weeks, and will obviously be first in first served for sponsorship of the key roles.

Please note that Thames Music And Drama Inc is registered as a charitable trust therefore all donations are tax deductible
